I checked out Oliver Twist this week, along with Great Expectations. I was surprised to discover that they're the same length! So my excuse to put off Great Expectations based on length means nothing...I checked out both and actually think I'll try Great Expectations first, but I'm not sure how either will go. Aunt Rae, you read that one and really loved it right?

Great Expectations is my very favorite Dickens novel. I've read it thrice. I virtually lived it in high school. I even named my cactus plant Miss Havisham because it had white hair all over it. I will tell you of its demise AFTER you have read the book. Don't want to give away any plotlines. Happy reading!
